WVLGA Spring Betterball Competition
The very successful introduction of the IG electronic sign up and payment system produced an excellent entry level of 130 ladies to the first WVLGA competition of the 2023. However the weather stepped in to thwart the WVLGA Spring Betterball event, due to be held at Ladbrook Park on April 24th.
After much discussion with the club relating to course conditions and trolley restrictions, the decision was made to cancel the competition on the previous evening. The general reaction from both ladies and Ladbrook Park GC indicated that this was the right, though disappointing, decision.
Many thanks to Ladbrook Park GC for all their help in the arrangements for this competition.
Why not sign up for the next Vet's Competition, The Championship - this year being held at Coventry Golf Club on Monday 26th June. You don't have to have a single figure handicap as there are prizes for both Gross and Nett scores to be won, not to mention prizes for the Over 65's. We look forward to seeing you on the 26th.
