Warwickshire Union - Announcement of New President Elect
The Board of the Warwickshire Union of Golf Clubs are delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Bloxham as our new President Elect with immediate effect.
Stuart will bring a wealth of expertise to the role from his vast experience as a County player and County Captain. He has a first rate working knowledge about the ethos surrounding "Team Warwickshire" and enjoys a healthy relationship with current players across all our teams in his role as Head of Player Development. His commitment and enthusiasm were qualities that the Board could simply not overlook and will provide a platform and template for the role in the future.
Stuart is currently the Club Captain at Coventry Hearsall Golf Club and is a former Captain of the Midland Golf Union, winning the Midland Golf Union Mid Amateur Championship at his home club in 2011.
Stuart will ascend to the role as President for his two year term at the Annual General Meeting to be held in March 2024.
