U16S Match vs Leicestershire friendly
This was the first match off the season for Warwickshire U16s with a slightly weaker team than hoped at forest hill golf club
The morning foursomes team as follows:
Alfie Smith & Jack Hewitson
Harry Walton & Charlie Clark
Byron Clements & Killian Sintorn

Alfie and Jack got off to a great start winning the first 3 holes and carried on very strong to win 4&3
Harry & Charlie however were in a tight game for most off the front nine our pair being 1 up at the turn they would push hard over the closing 9
holes to win 3&2
Byron & William, this match was a very tight affair trading holes on the front 9 and being all square at the turn, the Leicestershire pair
would go 3 up through 15, fighting back Byron would hole a lengthy putt on 16 and his approach to 17 would be conceded. Despite this great effort the Leicestershire pair would hang on winning one up.
Killian Sintorn & Oscar Gill, this match was up all the way through in a comfortable 5 & 3 victory.
This would give Warwickshire a 3-1 at lunch and a commanding lead going into the singles the singles team as follows
