Warwickshire Inter Club Foursomes Final
The Warwickshire Inter Club Foursomes Final was played at Olton Golf Club on 23rd September 2024. The Finalists were Harborne Golf Club and Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club.
Each team consists of four players who play two foursomes matches. Matches are played over the full 18 holes and the winning team is the team with the highest number of holes won from the two matches.
Luckily the course was open following a wet weekend and a very wet and misty Monday morning:
Tee off times 9.30 and 9.40 so off they went, a clear run, no players in front and none behind - perfect!

Nicola Harrison & Kirsty Brown
Both matches were very closely fought, with Harborne's Kirsty Brown and Nicola Harrison winning the first match - 2 up giving 1 shot to Paula Winwood & Joy Tinder.
The second match came in all square - Harborne's Debbie Naylor and Mary Fraise receiving 3 shots against Stratford's Charlotte Atkinson and Veronique Lintin.
Harborne therefore won the competition 2 up. Congratulations to Harborne!
