Inter Club Team Championship at Walmley Golf Club 4 September 2023
The annual Inter Club Team Championship took place this year at Walmley Golf Club on Monday 4 September 2023. Each team consisted of 5 players selected by clubs affiliated to WLCGA and the lowest aggregate of 18 hole stroke play by 4 members of the team competed to win Gross and Net Trophies.
105 players from 21 Warwickshire Clubs took part on what was an amazingly hot day for September. The course was beautifully presented with very fast greens!
I would like to thank Sharon Brown (Lady Captain), Steve Carter (Club Professional) and the team of volunteers who helped make this competition a successful one. The catering staff kept everyone fed and watered. Jo Boyes and Lesley Robbins raised £183 from the two ball sweeps which will go to the Warks Junior Girls.
