Warwickshire Girls v Worcestershire & Herefordshire Girls - Sunday 12th May 2024
The Warwickshire girls V Worcestershire & Herefordshire girls match was held at Edgbaston Golf Club.
We were grateful to Pat Hale who organised the booking and thank The President of Warwickshire, Sue Timberlake, for starting the girls off on the first tee.
The course was in great condition, the greens were fast, and the narrow fairways made the course very challenging.
The Warwickshire girls fought hard and lost 2/1 against a Worcestershire girls scratch team and the handicap team played exceptionally well to secure a win 4 matches to Worcestershire's 1.
The match was played in great spirits by both teams.
The overall score was 5 to 3 to Warwickshire girls.
