Men's Seniors v Leicestershire - Match Report
Warwickshire Seniors vs Leicestershire & Rutland Seniors at Melton Mowbray Golf Club Thursday 9th May 2024.
The team selected to play for Warwickshire was:

The team all arrived safely at Melton Mowbray Golf Club for our first match of the season.
Melton Mowbray was a course which none of the Warwickshire team had previously played, the team were a little apprehensive against a strong looking L&R side.
A really good performance in the morning foursomes, saw Warwickshire take a 4-2 lead going into lunch.
After a lunch the fourball games got underway. The afternoon fourball matches followed a similar pattern to the morning; Warwickshire performing strongly and played some great golf, winning 5 out of the 6 games.
The final match result was Warwickshire 14 - 4 L&R.

Special mention for Colin Brice from Stratford on Avon GC for making a winning debut for the Warwickshire Seniors.
