WLCGA Seniors 9 Hole Alliance at North Warwickshire on 2nd August 2024
What a great afternoon. It was a beautiful summer's day, slightly on the warm side but a gentle breeze. A full field of 60 ladies played in extremely good spirits. The course was in great condition and balls were running well. Everyone at North Warwickshire club made the ladies feel very welcome. The original starter got a black mark for forgetting all about it and was actually out on the course when the ladies started, but the Men's Vice Captain willingly stepped into the breach and together with Deb Reynolds, shared the starter's duties.
Julie Ward, Seniors Captain thanked everyone for coming and making the afternoon so enjoyable and also presented the prizes.
The winners with a magnificent score of 45 were:
Chris Wright ( a last minute change), Irene King and Patsy Stone from West Mildands
2nd - Carol O'Hare, Dawn Humphries and Janine Trigg from Shirley with 42
3rd - Margaret Riley, Mary Randon and Jan Palin from Walmley with 40
