U16S League match vs Worcestershire at Stratford Oaks Golf Club
After beating Leicestershire away the team were hoping for another good result.
Team representing Warwickshire was as follows:

The foursomes pairings were as follows:
JOSH GARDER & OLLIE JONES
CHARLIE CLARK & EDWARD HAYLE
WILLIAM PAGET & MONTY FINCHER
SAM STORER & ARCHIE WILLIAMS
Josh & Ollie a very strong partnership and never down throughout there and winning 5&3
Charlie & Edward this pairing were very unlucky throughout the front 9 turning only one down
But Worcestershire would put the after burners on and win 5&4
William & Monty yet another game very tight all the way and a fair result of all square
Sam & Archie these two played some fantastic golf with Archie showing off a very good short
Game in their 4&2 victory.
At halfway Warwickshire would lead two and a half to one and a half and so we all had lunch hoping to do the same again ,the afternoon singles as follows

Josh started us off with a very hard thought 2&1 victory
Ollie Jones with an amazing 8&6 win
Monty Fincher would lose a very close game 1 down
William Paget showing grit and determination being down for most off his match but battling to a very good half
Edward Hayle with a very workman like performance never running away with it but battling for a 2up victory
So looking like a certain win , Warwickshire only needing half a point from final matches. However unfortunately we would lose all three.
Archie William lost 3&2
Charlie Clark ost 2&1
Sam Storer lost 2 up
Such a shame given the performance we could not secure the win on the day but Worcestershire battled hard for the halved match.
