WLCGA Spring Greensomes
What a super day we all had at Coventry Golf Club on Thursday 27th March, it was the first Spring Greensomes we have held and it was a great success.
The weather played its part beautifully with the sun shining all day, the course was in fantastic condition and with the help from the ladies at Coventry GC everything went very smoothly.
Sixty ladies took part in the competition which is the first Warwickshire event of the year and we raised £172 on the ball sweep which benefits the Warwickshire Junior Girls. Everyone said how much they’d enjoyed the day.
Winners were:
- 1st Prize Nett Leesa Dennis & Nikki Ford from Atherstone £50 each
- Runners Up. Rachel Hardy & Hazel Carter from Shirley £30 each
- 1st Prize Gross. Ilse Peel & Beverley Coleman from Kenilworth £50 each
