Junior Girls County League Match - Warwickshire V Worcestershire 11th May 2025
The Warwickshire girls V Worcestershire girls match was held at Bransford Golf Club on 11th May 2025. We were grateful to Kerry Hobbs who organised the booking and thank the club for starting the girls off on the first tee. The weather was superb and very warm.
The course was in great condition, the greens were fast, and the narrow fairways made the course very challenging. The Warwickshire girls played well and won 4 ½ to 1 ½ against the Worcestershire girls scratch team and the handicap team won 4 to 1 against the Worcestershire handicap team. The match was played in great spirits by both teams.
The overall score was 8 ½ to 1 ½ to the Warwickshire girls – a fantastic result for Warwickshire – well played girls.
