Warwickshire Golf
Bronze Division Team Competition 4th June 2025
72 ladies, representing 18 Warwickshire Clubs played in the Bronze Division team Competition at Stratford Park Hotel and Golf Club on June 4th. Apart from a few drops of rain, the day was fine but windy adding to the challenge of the undulating nature of the course, which was in lovely condition. Despite the challenge, the atmosphere in the conservatory after play was buzzing and ladies had a great day.
The scores reflected the challenge and were incredibly close both at individual level, where three ladies tied for first place on points and the winner was determined on countback, and also in the team scores where Robin Hood Golf Club pipped Walmley and Rugby to the winning spot by 1 point.
Sue Timberlake, WLCGA President, awarded the trophies to the winners to round off an excellent day.
