The venue was The Kings Course at The Warwickshire G & CC on Friday 5th October for this, the last Vets Competition of the year, the 3 Ball Alliance.
After really heavy rain the previous night, we were fortunate to have a dry day, albeit quite cold and grey. The course underfoot was very heavy after the rain and the ball was not rolling very far but the greens although tricky, were quite true.
30 Teams of three set off from 8.30 a.m. with the last off at 1.00 p.m. to allow the Vets AGM to follow after the Prize Presentation.
Scores weren't high and some teams got a shock to find they were among the prize winners!! Kath ASHLEY in her first Vets Competition was a welcome addition to the winning team!
